Guillermo smuggling tequila onto the Oscars red carpet never fails to be hilarious

You can always rely on Guillermo to make things interesting. Jimmy Kimmel’s cheerful on-the-ground reporter paid another visit to the Oscars this year, where he chatted with various stars on the red carpet. And after enlisting their help in encouraging Kimmel to give him a pay rise, he brought out an old favourite: carefully concealed tequila. This year it was smuggled in a microphone and a shiny handbag. Outstanding work. Read more: https://mashable.com/video/guillermo-oscars-red-carpet-2019/

A star is fixed.  During the Oscars on Sunday night, Lady Gaga and Rami Malek had a deeply wholesome moment when she straightened out his crooked bow tie.  The Bohemian Rhapsody star, bless his heart, showed up to the red carpet with his tie like this:  Oh no, Rami, what are you doing?? Steve Carell and Stephen Colbert get into each other’s personal space to talk about really personal stuff

For old friends Steve Carell and Stephen Colbert, a regular sit-down talk show interview is just not quite personal enough.  That’s why the pair decided to get right up close and personal inside a cardboard box labelled “personal space,” for an interview on The Late Show.  Inside the “personal space,” Carell and Colbert discussed topics such as why Carell is such a “zaddy” now, and whether he’s sick of people quoting The Office to him.  Oh and they also suck on the same candy cane for a good 20 seconds. …

Prince Charming who?Image: ben arons In Randi Zuckerberg’s world of satirical fairytales, “happily ever after” is not a guarantee. On Friday, Zuckerberg and her longtime business associate Natasha Lewin announced the launch of a silly, yet surprisingly dark, family-friendly podcast called “Once Upon a Timestamp.” The podcast features, as they describe them, “woke/depressing” and “feminist/current” re-tellings of classic fairytales, with contemporary themes like politics, gender, and the tech world.  SEE ALSO: Randi Zuckerberg: The Best Thing About Social Media Is Also the Worst For example, the first episode retells the…

Chris Pine and Jimmy Kimmel nerd out over their first ever concerts

What was your first concert? Did one of your parents take you or did you go it alone? Chris Pine’s a keen Metallica fan, but it wasn’t his first concert. Hollywood Chris and star of both Patty Jenkins’ Wonder Woman and I Am the Night, Pine had a delightful nerd-out with Jimmy Kimmel on Friday over music, from their first concerts to Pine’s teenage band in which he rapped Vanilla Ice (and still can). While Kimmel’s first concert was Sammy Davis Jr. in Vegas, Pine’s first concert was Faith No…

Steve Carell’s ‘SNL’ NASA broadcast goes terribly wrong after a breach

Saturday Night Live’s Captain Ed McGovern (Steve Carell) thought live streaming to children’s classrooms across America from the International Space Station would be great. It was not. After an unfortunate breach in the system left all the monkeys (and one cat) on-board frozen solid and flying around, things got a bit hectic. And while we’re pretty sure no amount of space puns or jokes could distract from a frozen Russian woman flying outside the spacecraft, that doesn’t stop McGovern from trying We “Apollo-gize” for the horrors you’re about to see.…
