The FBI just moved white supremacist terrorism to the same threat level as ISIS

Many people think of “terrorism” and immediately conjure images of ISIS or Al-Qaeda suicide bombers. But in the U.S., terrorism has another face—one that’s far more familiar, but just as dangerous. FBI Director Christopher Wray announced this week that the agency has raised racially-motivated and ethnically-motivated violent extremism to the same threat level as ISIS. At an oversight hearing with the House Judiciary Committee on February 5, Wray explained that race-based terrorism is now considered a “national threat priority,” which means it will receive the same resources as international terrorism…

We work extra because we know there are sick people who need us. We miss weekend events, holidays, birthdays. We don’t get too excited over your minor “boo-boo”. We have seen far worse. We don’t want to talk when we come home. We have talked all day. We don’t want to move when we come home.…

‘More than 50,000 new police officers needed’

But those leading the recruitment drive now say the total needed is much bigger because they have to factor in police officers who will be resigning or retiring from the service. Current figures show that only one in 10 candidates who applies to join the police is successful – meaning half a million would have to apply to reach the 53,000 goal. The figure has been reached by the Uplift team responsible for recruitment. It includes Home Office officials alongside representatives from the College of Policing and the National Police…

We Broke Up With Netflix

ShareTweetPin It’s not you, it’s me. Isn’t that what people say when they break up with someone. Well, I guess you could say that’s true with Netflix (among other networks) with us. It wasn’t so much specifically what Netflix was bringing to the table, but rather it became a realization of how that was affecting us. It became all about us, about what we needed in our lives at this point and time. Allow me to expound. I can remember about 8 1/2 years ago driving down the street in…
