Red Hat continues steady march toward $5 billion revenue goal

Microsoft acquires container platform Deis from Engine Yard

Microsoft today announced that it has acquired Deis,the company behind some of the most popular tools for building and managing applications on top of the Google-incubated Kubernetes container orchestration service. The companies did not disclose the price of the acquisition. Its worth noting thatEngine Yard acquired Deis back in 2015, so while Microsoft doesnt mention this in todays announcement, it is acquiringDeis directly from Engine Yard.
