Huawei enters the smart speaker race with the AI Cube

Huawei is now the second largest smartphone maker

This bad boy was selling well.Image: Raymond Wong/mashable Huawei has finally done it: The Chinese giant shipped more smartphones in one quarter than Apple, and is now second only to Samsung.  The company shipped 54.2 million handsets in the second quarter of 2018, an enormous year-over-year increase of 40.9%, according to IDC. Samsung was in first place with 71.5 million handsets shipped, a year-over-year change of -10.4%.
