Fans are still reeling with excitement over Ariana Grande‘s latest single, Monopoly.
ICYMI — the songstress dropped the video, a collaboration with her bestie and singer Victoria Monét, on Monday night in the
For those who need a little clarification first, according to lyrics site Genius, the song’s post chorus features the line:
“I like women and men (Yeah), Work so f**kin’ much, need a twinny, twin, twin”
And as we anticipated, Twitter had many, many conflicting feelings about Ari opening up in this way.
It seems like at first, some Arianators were unsure of what to make of the suggestive line:
GUYS PLEASE IM SO CONFUSED! CAN SOMEONE TELL ME IF ARIANA GRANDE IS BI OR NO? PLS SOMEONE RETWEET AND SAY YES OR NO BC IM SO CONFUSED!
— mari (@momentsgrandee)
But what if our girl is telling the truth about her sexual preferences, and enjoys both men and women? If so, a few fans aptly pointed out that she can’t win either way:
now the locals are mad at ariana for maybe being bi…WHEN will the hatred stop?

also, calling ariana bi when she isn’t calling herself anything is ugly. she could consider herself pan. she might not want a label. maybe ask her ab how she views her sexuality instead of just assigning one to her.

To sum up all of this controversy perfectly, see (below):
dont forget that ariana might be bi but she could also still be figuring herself out/exploring and she might not label herself yet . she could be trying it out feel comfortable expressing it thru music

As we previously mentioned, Grande already made it clear that she doesn’t feel the need to label her relationships and won’t start now.
We have to admit ourselves, it would be quite surprising to see Ariana romantically linked to a woman since we haven’t seen that in public from her before.
But it is 2019, and we really shouldn’t be losing any sleep over who the woman decides to love. So, we’ll have to save our assumptions, and mind our own business until we hear more from her directly.
