Zelda has a minus world

Listen, everyone. It’s not every day that a new fact comes to light regarding a game that came out more than 30 years ago. So the news that The Legend of Zelda for NES has a minus world like Super Mario Bros. and others hit me like a freight train. The phenomenon was discovered by YouTuber SKELUX, who starts off his video with a quick explanation of how minus worlds work. If you think…

How a hacked phone may have led killers to Khashoggi

(CNN)Jamal Khashoggi probably thought the messages he was sending to fellow Saudi dissident Omar Abdulaziz were hidden, cloaked in WhatsApp security. Don Lemon: GOP Emboldened Steve King To Use White Nationalist Rhetoric

But not before the “CNN Tonight” host rhetorically asked: “Why do Republicans tolerate it?” “The GOP is where it is today because the party chose to go down this road, playing to racists and xenophobes, demonizing immigrants, allowing a manufactured crisis at the border to shut down our government. When you do that, what you get is someone like Congressman King, someone who feels emboldened to use language that’s not a dog whistle. It’s straight-up hateful. It’s a bullhorn.” He later rejected the “white nationalist” and “white supremacist” labels in…

This device is trying to replace your phone AND laptop

The giant-size tech carnival is a great place to see the latest TVs, smart home gadgets, and self-driving vehicle tech, but it’s also a bubble. Hype and excitement over mostly incremental upgrades is epidemic at the show, and it has very little to do with our real-world relationship with technology. If there was any doubt about that, it was made jarringly clear on Thursday when news broke that Amazon-owned company Ring, fresh from…
